As an ex-pat living in the UK it was great to learn that there is a thriving Manchester Softball League. I  played for the Manchester Hackers in the second division for four years (serving as co-captain with Ian Radford in 2008) before moving to play for the Mavericks in the first division in 2009. I brought some good luck to the Mavericks and we won the league championship that year. Other highlights have included winning the 2006 Great Britain Men's C-National Softball Championship with the Manchester Butchers, being part of the winning team for the 2008 Alex Hall Charity Tournament, and winning the 2011 Windsor A/B Tournament.
